24th December 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 15-22 knots Surf / Sea State: 3 foot surf Air Temperature: 9ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Impi and I decided it would be rude not to give it a go, despite the fact that there probably wasn't enough wind. Our fears were correct, there wasn't enough wind and although I got going just and got out the back I git munched by a potentially kit-breaking wave, had a bit if a swim then waked back up the beach and gave it another go. in the end I did get going properly once, made it right out the back and had a little blast within a few jumps thrown in for good measure. Once back on the beach though I decided enough was enough before I broke some kit and packed up in the pouring rain. |
